I have an existing Arduino-based Wi-Fi prototype that already runs stable C++ firmware. I now need the same functionality condensed into a custom PCB no larger than 70 mm × 50 mm, with hard-wired Ethernet via an RJ45 connector, onboard 12 V power input that can be sensed from 0 V–15 V, and an integrated temperature sensor. You will take the current code that i supply, select the most size-efficient microcontroller (ATmega32U4, ESP32-Ethernet, STM32, or similar—open to your advice), and lay out a production-ready board. The board must expose a standard USB or UART header so I can upload updated C++ sketches without special tooling. Deliverables • Editable schematic and PCB layout files • Gerbers, drill files, and BOM with manufacturer part numbers • Brief bring-up guide showing how to flash new firmware and verify Ethernet link, voltage reading, and temperature data over the network I’ll validate the design by ordering the first batch, flashing my existing code, and confirming that all three monitored values—Ethernet connectivity, supply voltage, and temperature—match the prototype’s output.

Dear Sir, It's a pleasure to come across a project that aligns so closely with my skillset and expertise. With over {number of years in the field} years of experience in electrical engineering, PCB layout, and embedded systems, I have a deep understanding of the components and considerations involved in designing your compact Ethernet PCB. Moreover, my proficiency in Arduino and C++ programming will allow me to seamlessly adapt your existing stable firmware into the new layout, ensuring no loss or compromise on functionality. Drawing from my extensive knowledge of microcontrollers including ATmega32U4, ESP32-Ethernet, STM32, and others, I am well-positioned to select the most size-efficient option for your customized board. The final design will fulfill all your requirements- with hard-wired Ethernet via an RJ45 connector, onboard 12 V power input sensed from 0-15 V, an integrated temperature sensor, and even a standard USB or UART header for easy firmware updates. Delivering beyond these specifications, I'll also provide you with readily usable editable schematic and PCB layout files along with gerbers, drill files,BOM and your manufacturer part numbers. Additionally,I would create a bring-up guide which will guide you through each steps of flashing new firmware and verifying Ethernet link, voltage readings, and temperature data documentation anywhere over the network.

Hello, Your requirement is a compact, production-ready redesign—not just layout, but smart component selection and reliability. I will migrate your existing firmware to an optimal MCU (likely ESP32 with Ethernet PHY or STM32 + LAN8720) balancing size, power, and native Ethernet stability within the 70×50 mm constraint. The design will include RJ45 with proper magnetics, 12V input (0–15V sensing via divider + ADC protection), regulated power stage, and an accurate onboard temperature sensor. I’ll ensure clean routing (impedance-aware Ethernet traces), noise isolation, and a USB/UART programming interface for seamless firmware updates. Deliverables include full schematic, PCB files, Gerbers, and a precise BOM with manufacturer parts. I’ll also provide a concise bring-up guide covering flashing, Ethernet link validation, voltage sensing calibration, and temperature readout verification. Timeline: 4–6 days Rate: $180 AUD Thanks, Asif
