We are seeking a detail-oriented Estimator to join our team. This role is unique: you won’t just be crunching numbers; you will be the bridge between our projects and our local supply chain, ensuring we have the right materials at the right price. Key Responsibilities: Accurate Estimating: Perform detailed material take-offs and labor estimates from architectural drawings or site notes. Local Material Sourcing: Research and source construction materials from suppliers across North Dublin and the surrounding areas. You will be responsible for comparing prices to ensure project profitability. Supplier Coordination: Maintain relationships with local merchants to track lead times and availability. Admin Support: Assist our office administrator with project scheduling, updating our CRM, and following up on quotes with clients. Reporting: Directly report to the office admin to review project margins and accuracy. The Ideal Candidate: Experience: Proven track record in residential construction and home repair estimating (ideally within Ireland/North Dublin). Local Knowledge: Familiarity with the Dublin construction market and material costs is a significant advantage. Software Skills: Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., PlanSwift, Bluebeam) and Microsoft Excel. Communication: Excellent English (written and verbal), as you will be communicating with local suppliers and the internal team. Flexibility: A "can-do" attitude—happy to jump in and help the office admin during peak times. Project Details: Location: Remote (Preference for candidates familiar with North Dublin/Irish building regs). Duration: Starting as a project-based role with the potential to move into a long-term position.
