VB UI, SQL & Crystal

I’m building a Windows-desktop application in Visual Basic that centres on an intuitive user interface. The core screens must support true drag-and-drop behaviour and smooth form-based data entry, all backed by a SQL database so users can create and update records without touching raw queries. Here’s what I need from you: • A clean, well-structured VB project (VB.NET or classic VB6—let me know which you prefer) that connects securely to SQL Server or MySQL. • Fully functional CRUD routines: add, edit and persist records, with clear data-validation in place. • Drag-and-drop enabled controls—for example, letting users drag list items or files into a grid and have the data populate automatically. • At least one Crystal Report bound to the same data set so we can print or export the records straight from the UI. • Source code, Crystal .rpt file(s) and a small sample database script so I can test and extend the solution. Acceptance will be based on: 1. Smooth drag-and-drop with no crashes or unexpected UI lag. 2. Records reliably saved, edited and re-queried in the database. 3.
