My process typically starts with a conversation or two regarding your company and products, your competitiors and designs you like. After that, I build wireframes and two different directions that the site could go stylistically (say you're not sure if you want the site to look super sleek and modern, or more traditional...we can explore both.) Once the wireframes and styles are approved, I build a template that includes both the main features of the site (header/navigation, footer), but also a variety of situational elements that may be needed as well (social media sharing, different types of product listings, stylized forms, etc.) in clean HTML and CSS that will be ready for your developers to drop in the nuts and bolts of the pages. I added in a little extra time for minor modifications and edits...rearranging of some elements and cosmetic changes like colors, sizes, etc.
