Projects must have:
An HTML page containing, at a minimum, a header, main, and sidebar section
A CSS file that styles the webpage. The color scheme and style should coordinate with the Google Map
A Google Map with a custom style using the Style Wizard
Visualized spatial data in a Google Map with style/symbology applied (I recommend using colorbrewer for a color scheme)
Interactivity enabling the user to interact with the map and spatial data.
Your project must follow principles and best practices of web development including, but not limited to:
Clearly identified header, main, sidebar in HTML
HTML and CSS has consistent formatting including whitespace and indenting
HTML and CSS are commented appropriately (see [url removed, login to view] and [url removed, login to view] for commenting syntax)
CSS selectors are properly organized in the [url removed, login to view] file from general at the top (e.g., body, nav) to specific at the bottom (e.g., IDs)
HTML and CSS are valid according to W3C validator ([url removed, login to view] and [url removed, login to view]). Warnings from either validator are acceptable, but should be justified in your email (e.g., formatting problems or other reasons why the warning should be ignored in the case of your page).
