A building materials calculator is required that can be dropped straight into a web page and, from one user input—the total area in m²—instantly returns how many panels of mineral wool cladding are needed, as well as accesories for the system (screws, washers, mesh etc) Core flow • Single input field labelled “Total area (m²)”. • Behind the scenes the script multiplies this value by the coverage figure I will supply for each panel & accessories (and rounds up to whole units). • Result is displayed immediately on the same page without refresh. Build it in clean, self-contained HTML / CSS / JavaScript so I can paste the snippet into an existing site (WordPress block or any static page). No external paid libraries; vanilla JS or a lightweight framework is fine as long as the final folder is under 100 KB and works in all modern browsers, desktop and mobile. Deliverables 1. Excel sheet with formulas used to create calculator for webpage 2. Commented source files (HTML, CSS, JS) ready to embed. 3. A brief README showing where to drop in the board-coverage value and how to change any labels or colours. 4. Live demo link or video capture proving the calculator works exactly as specified. I will handle styling tweaks and hosting once the files arrive; just keep the code clear and easy to extend for future inputs such as waste allowance or different board sizes.
