I need a detail-oriented virtual assistant to keep our small e-commerce operation running smoothly, with the main focus on getting customer orders out the door quickly and accurately. Core responsibilities • Purchasing & order prep – source the requested products, generate shipping labels, and get each parcel ready for the post. • Stakeholder communication – send brief, regular updates, answer basic enquiries, and pass key information to other team members while keeping our shipping data tidy. • Returns & faulty items – log any issues, arrange replacements or refunds, and note trends so we can improve. What success looks like • Every order has the right item, label, and tracking number before the daily cutoff. • I receive concise progress snapshots (numbers shipped, issues flagged) without prompting. • Customer questions are acknowledged within agreed time frames and escalated only when needed. This is a straightforward role to start, perfect for someone who already handles similar mailing tasks and is comfortable juggling a few chat threads during the day. Familiarity with online purchasing platforms and basic spreadsheet updates will help you hit the ground running.
