Demand Forecasting Optimization

I’m looking for a logistics supply-chain professional who can concentrate on our inventory management and, more specifically, on supply-chain optimization through better demand forecasting. Here’s what I need: • Diagnose our current forecasting process, data flows, and key pain points. • Build or refine a practical demand-forecasting model that aligns with our sales cycles, seasonality, and SKU mix (Excel, Power BI, or another suitable tool—your call as long as it’s maintainable). • Translate the model into clear reorder points and safety-stock guidelines that the warehouse team can follow without guesswork. • Recommend quick-win process changes that will shorten planning cycles and flag stock-out risk earlier. • Draft a concise SOP and KPI dashboard so we can monitor forecast accuracy, stock cover, and service levels going forward. • Provide a brief handover session to walk my team through the model and reports. Access to historical sales, current inventory levels, and supplier lead-time data will be provided. Your insights should ultimately help us cut excess stock while protecting availability.
