Abu Dhabi National Hotels Company PJSC
Abu Dhabi National Hotels Company is a public shareholding company, was incorporated in Abu Dhabi, UAE on 13 April 1975 by Law No. (3) as amended by Law No. (5) of 1978, to own and mange hotels and to undertake other related business. The company shares are listed on Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange.
The company owns seven hotels within the UAE (Hilton International Abu Dhabi, Hilton International Al Ain, Abu Dhabi Sheraton Hotel, Le Meridien Abu Dhabi, Sofitel Dubai, Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi and Ritz Carlton Abu Dhabi Grand Canal” That are managed by international hotel operating companies. The company also manages for its own account four other hotels (Al Diar Capital Hotel, Al Diar Regency Hotel, Al Diar Mina Hotel, Al Diar Palm Suites Hotel) under lease agreement with the property owners.
The company also comprises a hotel management division, a purchasing division, a tourism services division and has other investments as well.
After looking at the “Abu Dhabi National Hotels Company” financial results for the year ended 31 December 2013, “AL-Taqwa” Islamic investment fund manager thinks about buying some stocks of this company from the financial market.
Your group is assigned to write a report that covers the following:
