A human technology to support or enhance his/her biological capabilities is known as cyborg. [Suppose to give an example, If you are reading my Seminar using spectacle or eye contact lenses or you have an insulin pump (if you have diabetes), since you are incapable of surviving without that mechanical objects, you might be considered as cyborg.] So a person whose physiological functioning is aided by or dependent upon a mechanical or an electronic device can be called as a Cyborg.
Cyborg is a science-fictional word of “cybernetic organism”. Etymologically, cyborg stands for CYBernetic ORGanism – a hybrid of a machine or an artificial entity and a natural organism. This is commonly shared definition of Cyborgs, – Which is a strong enough to be present in most dictionaries – implies that the technology is inside the body.
