I will provide a spreadsheet (shared via Google Apps) listing a number of topics and you will RESEARCH them on the web and ENTER some data. These will be fairly specific, such as a famous person (like Marco Polo) or historical event (like World War II) or recognized place (like Great Pyramids of Egypt).
For example, you will FIND 25-30 most significant dates and events related to Marco Polo, ENTER them into a spreadsheet, WRITE A BRIEF DESCRIPTION (usually a sentence or two, plus a title), and copy a LINK to the internet reference, which might be a web page, image on a website, video on youtube, whatever. This will be done for EACH TOPIC (so, 100 topics with 30 entries each would require 3,000 lines to be added to the spreadsheet, each line with a date, title, short description, link). Language will be U.S. English.
Since neither of us know exactly how many topics can be done in an hour, I am funding this project as a test. If you can provide feedback based on your experience, I would welcome it! What is YOUR estimate?
If it can be done efficiently and with QUALITY, this will become a recurring task. Regular work batches will be assigned, probably weekly.
