Looking for someone to help me retrieve data either from and an SQL database backup or from Point Of Sales system generated excel files.
Need to make retrieval of information automatic either by macros or with 3rd party software.
This information is then transfered into our excel dashboard that shows us specific sales figure, monthly spending etc etc
To remove some of the confusion, I have attached some pictures of my current dashboard environment that i have created.
The problem i have is i have to manually process information from my POS (Point of sales system) http://www.kronoskonnect.com.au
I pay a monthly subscription to use there software and the database is controlled from there side. I dont have the sql passsword or username to access the database but the software can generate excel report for alot of the information i require.
So what i need is someone to help me either
1. get into the database to continually gather data for my dashboard
2. auto generate the reports from the POS software and again automatically move from those sheets to my dashboard
3. you may have a much easier way to do it which would be great!
