I have scanned the indexes to books, and they're stored as jpgs or pdfs. OCR software generally works pretty well on them. I want to have these files processed, checked, and returned in an Excel format, in which the entry (that is, everything but the page number) appears in one column, and the page numbers appear in a second column. When the data is accurate, I will import it into my database.
I have many files to process, but each one is different in its own way. Pricing will likely depend on the quality and size of the files in question.
I'll try to add some examples soon, so bidders have a better idea of what the work would look like.
