In order to produce an initial batch of local businesses and venues for a travel directory service, we are looking for a data entry team to feed our database.
The data comes from a paper source (scanned for your convenience, no copy paste possible).
The data needs to be read from the source, interpreted and entered into a web form. Please be aware this is not simple copy-paste: each source record must be read and understood prior to entering. The subject is easy enough though: hotels, restaurants, bars, spa’s, travel agents, etc…
At entry level, each record consists of 2 levels: general information and venue specific information. These are 2 different screens, in which the second depends on the options chosen at the first level.
Keyboard Entry (copy/paste in case of Excel file, manual entry in case of scanned paper source): Name / Address / Telephone number / Email / Neighbourhood / URL / Price
Select from List: Country / City / Currency
Check box selection: 3 fields based on interpretation of source text.
Venue specific information: Fields depending on the type of venue. No keyboard entry, only List and Checkbox selection. On average, there are 15 fields to fill in, but as they are all checkboxes or dropdown menus this is very fast.
We would like to receive bids for [url removed, login to view] records. This is not the size of the total job, just an indication. The job size will likely be bigger. Please mention the size of the team you would deploy and the time frame in which this job can be accomplished. Also mention the cost per record.
The job would start next week.
