I run a 30-year residential brokerage and property-management firm in Louisville, Kentucky, and I need a fluent-English leasing agent who already works confidently inside both Appfolio and Buildium. Your primary mission is to keep our vacancy rate low by using those platforms end-to-end: scheduling and tracking showings, processing incoming lease applications, and staying on top of renewals before they ever reach expiration. Day to day you will log every call, email, or text with prospects in Appfolio or Buildium, upload application documents, trigger background and credit checks, and then prepare leases for electronic signature. When a tenant’s term is nearing completion, you will reach out, negotiate any changes, and renew the lease directly in the software so accounting and reporting stay clean. Deliverables I will review weekly: • A complete record of scheduled and completed showings, time-stamped in the system • All pending and approved applications with supporting files attached and status notes updated • Renewal offers issued not later than 90 days before lease end, with final terms synced in the platform You will be working US Eastern time, at least a few hours each weekday to handle calls and texts as they come in. If you already know the automated workflows, custom fields, and reporting tools in Appfolio and Buildium, you will be able to contribute from day one and help us refine our internal checklists as we grow.
