Responsible for answering home care programs main phone lines and facilitating all incoming and outgoing calls. Meets and greets all home care visitors. Assist with filing, faxing, copying, mailing and records maintenance as needed.
Answer, screen and direct all home care incoming and outgoing calls to the appropriate party or location.
Forward and un-forward phones to the service daily.
Obtain and distribute the on-call logs from the service daily.
Take messages and forward them promptly.
Provide callers with appropriate information about the home care programs and/or organization
Greet, screen and announce all visitors to home care.
Ensure all staff have checked in for the day including maintaining a schedule of staff availability so that all calls are properly handled.
Assist in the departmental orientation of new support staff.
Assist with filing, faxing, copying, messenger, mailing , typing, records maintenance as needed.
