Title: Research Assistant — Extract Paywalled Article Text into Zotero Notes (NYT, WSJ, FT, Economist, Business Insider) Description: I have a Zotero library containing approximately 300 entries from paywalled publications including the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, The Economist, and Business Insider, and other paywall blocked journals. Each entry has a URL already saved, but the full article text is missing because these sources require subscriptions to access. I need a research assistant who can access these publications through their university library subscriptions and work through the library systematically, copying the full article text into a Zotero Note attached to each entry. The workflow is simple: Open each Zotero entry. Follow the URL. Access the full article through your university library. Copy the complete article text. Paste it as a new Note attached to that Zotero entry. Move to the next entry. Requirements — all three are mandatory: You must have active university library access to all six publications: NYT, WSJ, FT, The Economist, Bloomberg, and Business Insider. Please confirm this explicitly in your bid — list which publications your library covers. Bids that do not confirm university library access will not be considered. You must be comfortable working directly inside a shared Zotero library. I will give you access to the specific collection containing the paywall entries. You must be detail-oriented. The note should contain the full article text, cleanly copied, not truncated or paraphrased. What I am NOT looking for: This is not a scraping or coding project. No Python, no APIs, no automation tools. This is careful manual research work requiring legitimate library access. Do not bid if you are planning to use scraping tools or workarounds — I need the full licensed text, properly accessed. Deliverable: All entries in the shared Zotero collection have a Note attached containing the complete article text. A brief log noting any URLs that were inaccessible even through your library (dead links, articles removed, etc.). Ideal candidate: A graduate student or academic researcher at a university with broad database subscriptions. Familiarity with Zotero is helpful but not required — the workflow is simple enough to learn in ten minutes. To be considered, your proposal must include: (1) the name of your university, (2) a list of which of the publications — NYT, WSJ, FT, The Economist, Business Insider, Bloomberg — your library confirms it covers,

Hello, I reviewed your project and it aligns well with my experience in academic research support, Zotero library management, and source documentation workflows. I have worked on citation verification, database research, full-text extraction, and structured academic-content organization requiring careful manual handling and accuracy. I am comfortable working directly inside shared Zotero libraries, attaching structured notes, maintaining consistency, and tracking inaccessible or incomplete sources systematically. I also understand the importance of preserving complete article text without truncation or paraphrasing. My workflow focuses on organized batch processing, verification of article completeness, and maintaining a clean progress log throughout the project. Could you please confirm whether you prefer plain-text notes only or preservation of article formatting/headings inside the Zotero Notes as well? Let's connect in a chat box.
