Job Production After a quote is accepted, I need a smooth hand-off into production: create the work order, place it on a schedule, and allow real-time updates so we can see which jobs are in progress, completed, or waiting. A simple calendar or Gantt-style view is fine as long as filtering by date, machine, or operator is quick. Material Tracking The system must maintain current inventory levels and deduct material usage automatically whenever a job consumes stock. Flagging low inventory is essential; full purchase-order logic can come later.
