The Guide Stylus
The guide stylus pen is an input/output device that helps the blind to easily communicate with people who are unfamiliar with braille language, to teach them written English, and for the purpose of limit expansion.
The guide stylus converts the braille language into written English, which is then controlled by the device itself generated by the power of lasers.
The English language is a worldwide language, thus we used it in our device to help the majority of the community.
The device consists of 3 vertical rollers that contain, letters, numbers, and punctuations; each icon has a button for activation.
The vertical keyboard assists the blind person to pick the icon wanted whether it is an alphabetical letter, number or punctuation mark, which is an input method.
Then the blind person senses these icons referring to their knowledge in English braille.
After the icon has been chosen the pen will direct the movement of the hand in drawing the input information by usage of laser power giving us an output of symbols chosen.
Unfortunately no one has showed any concern in a similar idea that will benefit the society by including the blind community in.
