Hospital Asset Verification App

We are a hospital based in India seeking to develop an Android mobile application for daily verification of physical assets using QR codes. The app will enable authorized staff to securely log in and scan QR codes tagged on each asset, which contain asset code, item name, quantity, and location details. Key features include role-based access (Admin/Auditor), QR code scanning with auto-fetch of asset details, validation of asset location, and a daily verification workflow to mark assets as present, missing, or misplaced with optional remarks. The system will integrate asset master data imported via Excel and maintain a backend database for asset management. Optional but preferred features include geo-tagging with GPS coordinates, photo capture with timestamp during verification, and offline capability with data synchronization when internet is available. Reporting capabilities include daily verification reports summarizing total, verified, missing, and misplaced assets, exportable in PDF/Excel formats, and automated email reports sent to predefined recipients. Deliverables: Fully functional Android mobile application with secure login and role-based access. QR code scanning and asset verification workflow as specified. Backend database integration for asset master data and verification records. Offline functionality with data sync on connectivity. Reporting dashboard with export and automated email features. Optional geo-tagging and photo capture features implemented. Documentation for app usage and backend management.
