Creation of mathematical trading algorithms on an existing proprietary platform/interface created in Borland Delphi using a Firebird database.
The platform currently houses an existing equities trading methodology that is capable of both running on historical data and in live mode on real time data.
It is required that quantified trading methodologies programmed into the existing platform's infrastructure.
The project would begin with programming the specification for 1 trading methodology and would then move onto 2 further methodologies, all on contract.
The interested candidate must have a strong knowledge of and extensive experience in working in Delphi.
Should have strong credentials in database architecture and networking.
A knowledge of financial markets and working with tick data a big plus.

The original programmer of the system will be available for consultation and some collaboration, and will be performing code review on your work. The existing program is written in Delphi 5/Win32.
The trading algorithms are proprietary, and an NDA will be required.
