We like to build a Delphi Web Services , i.e. DataSnap Server to connect our e-commerce database to ShipWorks and allow downloading of orders (by status or date), and updating the status (processing, shipped, cancelled etc) using the 3rd party module integration capabilities of ShipWorks. The Orders web database runs MS-SQL 2008 R2 and is rather simple and has tables for the web orders, items ordered, users, addresses, shipping methods, etc. All can be extracted via a queries.
I'm a Delphi developer myself but currently involved in another project which has taken up all my time, and need a highly-experienced Delphi programmer to do this one. Please include your experience with Delphi, types of apps done, and any relevant experience, such as prior integration work with ShipWorks and/or e-commerce. We like to develop this using Delphi XE6.
The budget will vary based on your proposal, which may include a GUI, service/tray icon, detailed logs, exception handling, configuration, multi-threading, level of testing and support. We may break it down in phases and issue payments by milestone. We shall finalize budget once we validate the features included in your proposal.
If you have no relevant experience, and you are able to go through the integration guide ([login to view URL]), we may finalize a deal only if you can make a quick demo that proves connectivity and downloading of an order. We shall supply SQL query. We will need to see this demo via teamviewer or run it locally.
