I recently upgraded my station from LibreTime 4.4.4 to 4.5.0 and ever since the change the live input only plays for a second or two before dropping. The Live Master toggle lights up, my encoding software connects, yet nothing is delivered through the public stream URL. Most of my streams run through Icecast, although I occasionally keep a secondary mount active, so any solution has to work cleanly with Icecast at minimum and not break compatibility with other mounts. I’m unsure whether the fault sits with DNS, port forwarding, or LibreTime’s internal live-routing, so I need a full check of: • Input path from encoder to LibreTime • Internal routing within LibreTime (liquidsoap, live priority, etc.) • Output chain from LibreTime to Icecast, including mount-point mapping and authentication • Any DNS or firewall rules that might be interrupting the flow Success means a presenter can connect at any hour of the day, flip Live Master on, and the stream stays solid with no manual intervention. As soon as the fix is in place I’ll test a continuous live feed for at least 30 minutes and in 2-3 days; once that passes without audio drop or disconnect, the job is done. Timing is critical—I need this working ASAP so the station’s schedule isn’t disrupted. Remote access to the server can be arranged immediately after we agree on the plan.

Hello, I have over a decade of experience in PHP web development, which includes working on and troubleshooting complex software systems similar to the LibreTime platform. I understand the criticality of your situation and assure you that once we agree on a plan, we can start working on it immediately with the needed remote access. In terms of your specific needs, my knowledge of DNS and firewall rules, as well as intricate details regarding software integration like those between LibreTime and Icecast, makes me a solid candidate for this project. My problem-solving capabilities combined with an ability to diagnose and debug various internal routing issues should aid us well in identifying the fault that is causing the stream drop-outs. Moreover, I place emphasis on excellent customer service throughout my work process. I guarantee that once we fix your issue, you can rest easy knowing presenters will be able to connect consistently without manual intervention. Allow me to turn this situation around for you into a more stable live streaming experience. Looking forward to partnering with you! Thanks!

Hi, I’m Jagjeet Singh, a graphic designer with 10+ years of experience, and I also work hands-on with LibreTime, Icecast, and live-streaming infrastructure troubleshooting. I understand the issue started after upgrading from LibreTime 4.4.4 to 4.5.0—live input connects, plays briefly, then drops, with nothing reaching the public Icecast stream. This clearly points to a routing or stream-handling change introduced in the upgrade, not an encoder-side problem. What I’ll do: • Trace the full live signal path (encoder → LibreTime → Icecast) • Check LibreTime 4.5.0 live routing (Liquidsoap config, Live Master priority, input handling) • Verify Icecast output, mount points, auth, and fallback behavior • Review ports, firewall, DNS, and stream timeouts • Apply and test a stable fix that works reliably with Icecast and secondary mounts Done means: • Live stream stays connected and audible continuously • No drops after 30+ minutes and again after 2–3 days • Presenters can go live anytime without manual fixes I focus on fixing the root cause, not workarounds, and I understand how critical uptime is for a station. I can start immediately and access the server as soon as you’re ready. Best regards, Jagjeet Singh

Hi, I’m Fiza Shabbir. I can help you track down and fix the LibreTime 4.5.0 live-stream drop so your presenters can go live reliably without babysitting the system. Here’s how I’d handle it: • Review the full live input path from encoder to LibreTime to confirm ports, credentials, and input configuration. • Check LibreTime’s internal live routing, including Liquidsoap config, live priority handling, and any changes introduced in 4.5.0. • Verify the output chain to Icecast, making sure mount points, authentication, and fallback behavior are correct and stable. • Inspect firewall, port forwarding, and DNS rules to rule out network-level interruptions or timeouts. • Test with continuous live input to confirm the stream stays up consistently, not just for a few seconds. The goal is simple: presenters connect, switch Live Master on, and the stream stays solid at any time of day with no manual fixes. Once remote access is available, I can diagnose quickly and apply a clean fix that works with Icecast and doesn’t break secondary mounts. I’ll also explain what changed and how to avoid the issue after future upgrades. I understand this is time-sensitive and can start as soon as we agree on the plan. Best regards, Fiza Shabbir

Hi Jimmy, Just wrapped up a similar audio streaming project for a client, fine-tuning their setup to achieve seamless, high-quality streams with Icecast and liquidsoap. Exactly the kind of smooth integration you're looking for between LibreTime, Icecast, and your encoding software. We're the perfect fit for this project. I specialize in building robust, scalable streaming systems, leveraging my expertise in audio routing, live streaming protocols (like Icecast), and DNS/ports configuration to minimize signal loss and disruptions. My experience also covers setup optimization and troubleshooting, ensuring your stream stays online without manual intervention. Multiple 5-star reviews on complex audio streaming systems and audio processing pipelines on Freelancer.com. Happy to jump on a quick call to discuss your setup, identify potential bottlenecks, and outline a plan for a seamless fix. Worst case, you get a free consultation and some solid ideas. I already see a clean way to execute this. I specialize in radio automation systems, audio streaming chains, and server-side debugging for tools like LibreTime, Icecast, and Liquidsoap. Issues that appear right after a version upgrade align perfectly with my skills because they usually sit at the intersection of config changes, service dependencies, and logs. I’m confident I can quickly trace why your live input stopped behaving correctly after moving from 4.4.4 to 4.5.0 and restore stable live streaming. You want a clean and professional resolution where live input reliably connects, passes audio to the correct output (Icecast/stream), and DJs can confidently go live without workarounds or random failures. You also want the fix to be stable across reboots and future updates, with clear notes on what changed so you’re not stuck if you ever need to adjust settings later. I’d focus on reviewing your current LibreTime 4.5.0 configuration, checking Liquidsoap, input mounts, and authentication, then comparing them against your previous 4.4.4 setup. From there, I’d trace the full signal path for live input, inspect relevant logs, and apply targeted fixes to routing, ports, or service dependencies, followed by a live test session to confirm everything works end-to-end. Quick question before I suggest an approach: Are you using a specific live source method (e.g., DJ connection via Icecast/SHOUTcast credentials, Line-In/Line-Out, or external encoder) and did any of those connection details change during the upgrade? Lets chat more about your project, worst case you walk away with a free strategy session Regards
