We need a video about explainer videos. It might be used as an intro video for our company or as a video article. The video is mostly composed of three clips from videos we've made before. There is also some overlaid text and some brief animation at the end. I would think it's all best done in after effects. I've copied the script with visual notes below and I can send you the voiceover.
If you could please message me I can share the three video clips with you.
It's quite a small budget as it's mostly existing material, but it has to be very high quality, with smooth, well designed animation and transitions. If you can make it really impressive, happy to pay a bonus/higher fee and we'll definitely work with you on full videos in future (much bigger budgets).
Hope it's ok. Please message so I can give you the rest of the material. Thanks!
The secrets to great explainer videos, with the help of a nurse, a robot and this.
[Briefly show Clarity logo, then show the nurse, robot and graph, splitting the screen vertically. Maybe the three slices of video fly into position (or some other nice transition). Use the nurse from the lincor video from 33-34 seconds (pause when she smiles), the Celaton video robot from [url removed, login to view], and the streamhub video from [url removed, login to view] (or same graph at [url removed, login to view] if easier)]
Firstly, tell your story.
[Lincor video from 0:11, overlay text: Tell your story.]
For example, here’s a nurse searching for an old computer on wheels. She has to wait for it to charge, then lug it around. A relic of the 1980s, it offers access to medical records and, well, that’s it...
Now, enter medivista, which transforms patient experience and improves clinical outcomes. It makes life easier for nurses, who can do so much more at the bedside, etc.
By focusing on the why - why it’s important, why it’s wonderful - we’ve made a powerful connection with hospital staff - the target audience.
[overlay text: Focus on the ‘why’.]
Connecting with past experience is crucial to the way we learn and remember, and all the benefits of medivista are now framed within this compelling story.
[overlay text: Connect with past experience.]
[Celaton video from 0:16 - 0:25 , then 1:10 - 1:19, then pause and fade]
Ok, secondly, clarify ideas by visualising them. For example, this robot represents Celaton’s software, helping manage information. He makes life easier for staff, while the manager watches performance rise... If automation software can be made simple and human, anything can.
[overlay text: Clarify ideas by visualising them.]
Third, connect through visual style.
[Overlay text: Connect through visual style.]
[Streamhub [url removed, login to view] (maybe fade out as logo stops spinning)]
For example, here we show the kind of tech savvy media professionals that streamhub targets. And we use a suitably modern style to visualise its media analysis service. The visual quality carries its own message, building confidence and a deeper connection.
Video is a powerful medium.
Only 20% of web visitors will read the majority of text but 80% will watch a video (Source: Forrester Research)
[Show a circular graph (a bit like the attached image, but without off-lines) with a small 20% circle within it labelled text, and a larger 80% circle labelled video]
And adding a video to your website makes it 6 times more likely to convert a browser to a paying customer. (Source: Forrester Research).
[Fade out everything but the video circle, duplicate and expand it to 6x size]
But the biggest impact comes from capturing a more clear and compelling message.
[Maybe fade out everything but the large circle, which pulses and grows to hold the following quote].
Celaton kindly said "The video immediately transformed our biz dev and boosted growth. Everyone now gets the message perfectly.”
