I want to build an Android-only social networking application from the ground up. The core idea is to let users create profiles, connect with others, and interact through real-time posts and private messaging. I already have the basic concept and screen flow sketched out; what I need now is a developer who can translate those ideas into a smooth, modern native Android experience. Key objectives • Architect the app so it scales easily as our user base grows. • Implement clean, intuitive UI in line with current Material Design guidelines. • Set up a secure back-end (Firebase or any proven alternative) for authentication, data storage, and push notifications. • Deliver well-commented Kotlin/Java code, an installable APK, and brief setup documentation so my in-house team can maintain future iterations. Acceptance criteria – All core screens (onboarding, feed, profile, chat) function without crashes on the latest two Android versions. – Real-time updates appear in the feed within 2 seconds of posting. – Login and all data exchanges run through HTTPS with user credentials stored only as encrypted tokens. – App passes a standard Google Play pre-launch report with no critical issues. If you’ve shipped social features before and are comfortable with Firebase, WebSockets, or similar real-time solutions, you’ll be able to move quickly on this project.
