I have completed a 106,000 word Christian historical fiction novel manuscript featuring the biblical figure Timothy, loosely based on Acts 14:8-20. I am attempting to develop a second career as an author of Christian historical fiction after retirement from a 42 year career as a health care worker. I have no prior writing experience and am not published in fiction. I have experience in instruction and leadership of Bible study for adults and Christian formation classes for children and teens. I am a lay minister engaged in pastoral care both in worship service and in the community.
This completed book needs copy and line professional editing in preparation for submission for publication. This book is the first of three books anticipated to tell fully the story of Timothy. However, this book is a completed story as a stand-alone book. A fourth book, moreover, is possible in developing more fully a story of a fictional character created in this first book.
