We need to come up with a solution that will allow for the quick placement of 3 small electronics components together to be soldered. We are not using a PCB; instead, we need to attach the three components directly to one another. We are hoping we could spool the components in such a way that the two smallest parts are placed on top of the larger component and then all 3 are soldered together.
Our thoughts are to somehow incorporate solder paste to be dispensed on to the components, allowing them to all "stick" together or hold in place, and then have them soldered (via a hot plate or perhaps a solder oven/toaster oven).
We need to be able to assemble at least 1000 units per day, possibly more.
We feel a small pick and place machine could possibly do this, however we do not have the budget to purchase a machine for this relatively small task.
Lastly, it's important that the solution be provided quickly - within a few days preferably.
