Greetings,
We are a company that designs and builds electric motion systems for our clients worldwide.
We are currently building an electric race truck and are in need of an LV & HV line designer. The project is proprietary and will require conset to sign an NDA. Your responsibilities will include designing the wiring of all electronic components that are connected to the system- you will responsible for designing the electric harness for the truck.
Our ideal candidate will have experience designing complex electrical systems that include multiple devices that run on 12 and 24 volts (LV) as well as 700V (HV). He or she will be aware of the material specifications(such as the type of wire needed, the type of connectors, and best practices for installing and maintaining these systems).
This aspect of the project is expected to be completed within 1 week for each distinct voltage(12, 24, 400, and 700). So it is overall a 5 week project for completion of the entire design, with 1 week deliverables for each voltage. i.e. week 1: 12v design delivered; week 2: 24-volt design delivered, etc.
The additional week is for periodic reviews and finalization of the design.
Salary will be contingent upon experience and will be discussed with prospective candidates. It will be no less than $1000 USD per week, again negotiable based on candidate experience.
This is an opportunity to work on an innovative and distinct project, and the possibility for further contracts with us will follow upon successful and satisfactory completion of this design.
