Let me know more about your project. Have you a specific printer with which you want to work? in your description is :"Drive the motors with the same timing but adjustable pulses" I suppose that the main task is to take signal from a motor controller from printer, to decode it and then to control other motor with different parameters. Is this true? Please tell me more about this.

I am interested in this project and working with you in future. hi there, We are R&D company and we take such customize projects. currently we have launched 4-5 products for retail automation like electronic cash register, point of sale terminals & data terminals etc. 1. http web server using luminary micro's lm3sxxxx, nxp's lpc1768 etc. 2. object counter for a conveyor belt, the systems connects via rj45 to a router (with port forwarding) & now we can see this counting anywhere on internet. 3. we designed handheld terminals for a construction company in which the operator enters data in machine and the systems manage the data in files stored in 2 GB SD card. these files are uploaded to a FTP server. There is table top machine that communicates with this server and download those files for review or printing. 4. IVRS system for automatic motor control. in this project we have used GSM modem for call management. our systems plays .wav files stored in sd card and send them to GSM modem's mic input. The user calls to the systems & systems is on auto answer mode it replies the user with the stores voice on the SD card. 5. our regular product is a customize electronic cash register. our machine is capable of maintaining database (like inventory, stock etc.) on SD card. machine's can also connected with

What kind of a printer do you need to design? How many motors will there be? Some more details about overall project goal (do you have a sequence of events, e.g. when you press start button, what happens then?) What is the pulse signal that Arduino (or other microcontroller) needs to read? What kind of wireless module do you have in mind (Zigbee, WiFi, GSM)?
