I need a handheld metal detector designed and built. It can be built to transmit and receive ULF or VLF. It will generate the ULF or VLF and have a receiver to get the returns of the targets so it can identify the targets. I want the detector to be safe for the user. The metal detector must be able to detect metal targets from close up to far away such as "100 yards or more", and discriminate the difference between the types of metal targets it finds. It must tell me where the target is, how deep it is, how far away the target is, what type of metal it is, and the size of the target. If we can get a working prototype then later we can develop better functions such as 3d, and other nice features I have plans for. You will need to have Skype and team viewer capabilities. You will give me updates on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. I don't work on Sunday and I don't reply to emails on Sunday either. I need you to provide me a time schedule for completing each item that needs done. You will also need to fully test the detector and send me the results and pictures, video would be nice. When you are done testing you will send me the Metal detector to test as you have device completed so I can test how it is working and then give my feedback from the testing. You will need to fix anything that is found to be broken or wrong with the detector after I test it. You will warranty and repair anything that breaks with this detector for 4 months after the detector has been paid for and the repairs must be completed within 48 hours of receiving the detector back to you for repairs, then get it mailed it back to me within 2 business days. Once it is in the mail it should be shipped so it makes it back to me with a week. I will pay for shipping.
1) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Employer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No 3rd party components unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the employer on the site per the worker's Worker Legal Agreement).
Electronics and or Electrical engineering experience would be needed. You will need to send the detector with full and complete design, pictures, videos, plans before I release the escrow. I will pay for shipping. I will release the escrow when the detector is completed, tested, and accepted by me. You will complete the project by the mutually agreed upon deadline. You will not share this detector its design, plans, pictures, video, or any information about this detector with anyone. You will need to sign my NDA if you are awarded the bid. I will own all patents, copyrights to the detector. The design must not knowingly infringe on another patent design when designing my detector. It must be designed from the ground up using technology that is already available. You will provide any documents and information that may be needed for submitting a US patent or US copyright. You must work fast to complete this detector on time for the project deadline.
