We're looking for a circuit board laying out which will allow us to switch one of 32 GSM SIMs into a mobile phone. It needs to be controlled via either a USB or an RS-232 port, and provide the following functionality under USB/serial control:
- the ability to turn the mobile phone off and on (i.e. to provide it with switchable power)
- to be able to connect one of the 32 SIMs to the mobile
I see it as being something like a serial interface, a PIC or similar microcontroller and some logic to handle the SIM switching - without having looked at the SIM spec in detail, I'm not sure how best this can be done.
If you're able to produce a working prototype with the firmware done, then that'd be a big bonus for us.
Any questions, please PM me.
