4000/hr Teacher Required Digital System Electronics Btech/Mtech in Electronics Engineering

I own an coaching class for students pursuing electronics engineering.

Hiring freelancer for teaching roles in the topic Digital Systems-Part of Electronics Engineering. (Please see end of the message for syllabus)

Subject: Digital Systems and Design

Stream: Electronics Engineering

Books Used: Digital Design by M Morris Mano

Your Work:

Take one hour long classes on weekends. (Rs 4000/hr)

Required Qualification:

Candidate preferrably Btech/Mtech in Electronics Engineering or have good knowledge of topic Digital System particulary.

Will have round of small tests for selection process.

Syllabus:

Boolean algebra and logic gates:

Introduction to digital systems, basic Boolean theorems and properties, truth table, Boolean functions, canonical and standard forms, other logic operations [2 Hours]

Simplification of Boolean functions:

The map method: maps up to five variables, Product of sums and Sum of products simplification, NAND and NOR implementation. Don’t care conditions, the tabulation method, determination and selection of prime implicants.[8 Hours]

Combinational logic:

Design procedure, Design of Adders, Subtractors, code converters etc., Multilevel NAND and NOR circuits, EX-OR and equivalence functions.[6 Hours]

Combinational logic with MSI and LSI:

Application of typical TTL integrated circuit components like Binary Parallel adder[74283], carry look ahead adder [74182], multiplier using 74283, BCD adder [82583], Magnitude Comparator [7485], Decoders [74138,7442], Encoders [74148], Multiplexers [74157], De Multiplexers, ROMS and Programmable logic arrays [PLA-829 100] for designing combinational logic. [12 Hours]

Synchronous sequential logic:

Different types of flip-flops and their triggering, Analysis of clocked sequential circuits, Design Of clocked sequential circuits-state reduction, state assignment, flip-flop excitation tables, Shift Registers, design of counters[Asynchronous and Synchronous],Shift register counters, Design of synchronous sequential circuits [Ex: sequence detectors] [12 Hours]

Asynchronous sequential logic:

Analysis Procedure, Circuits with latches and Design Procedures.[3 Hours]

Memory Devices:

RAM, ROM, PROM, EPROM, EEPROM, PLD.[5 Hours]

Outcomes:

After studying this course, students are able to:Identify the applications of various elements of digital system abstractions.Transform complex Boolean expressions using Boolean theorems, K-Map, tabulation methods.Design combinational and sequential logic circuits.Classify different memory devices of a computer.
