Cold Email Infrastructure Build with PowerMTA & MailWizz

PowerMTA & MailWizz Expert Needed – Complete Cold Email Infrastructure Setup (20,000 Emails/Day) Project Description We are looking for an experienced email infrastructure specialist to build a complete, production-ready cold email infrastructure using PowerMTA and MailWizz. This is a one-time setup project. We are not looking for ongoing management after the setup is completed. The infrastructure should be capable of sending approximately 20,000 cold emails per day while maintaining excellent inbox placement and sender reputation. ⸻ Scope of Work PowerMTA Setup * Install and configure PowerMTA * Configure IP rotation and throttling * Queue management * Bounce processing * Logging and optimization * Production-ready configuration MailWizz Setup * Install the latest stable version * Integrate MailWizz with PowerMTA * Configure campaigns, delivery servers, cron jobs, and tracking * Configure bounce handling * Configure suppression lists * Configure open and click tracking Domain & DNS Configuration Configure approximately 200+ sender domains with proper DNS records: * SPF * DKIM * DMARC * MX Records * rDNS/PTR * DNS alignment * Tracking domains VPS & Server Configuration Setup and optimize the complete server infrastructure for high-volume sending. This includes: * Server hardening * Mail server optimization * Storage optimization * Performance tuning * Security best practices IP Configuration * IPv4/IPv6 setup * IP warming strategy * Sending schedules * Reputation management * Deliverability optimization ⸻ Special Requirements 1. Custom Reply Handling (Mandatory) By default, MailWizz requires a Reply-To email address when configuring sender identities. Our current provider has modified MailWizz so this requirement is disabled, and we require the same functionality. Instead of every sender domain receiving replies individually: * All replies must be routed to a single mailbox. * Primary reply domain: [login to view URL] Important requirements: * This domain must NEVER be used for sending emails. * It will only receive incoming replies. * All sender domains should route replies to this mailbox. * Webmail must be configured on this domain. ⸻ 2. PDF Storage Integration The MailWizz server must also act as storage for PDF attachments. Requirements: * Store approximately 20,000 PDF files * Around 10–15 GB of storage * Files remain on the server for 2–3 days * Create a dedicated folder accessible via WinSCP * MailWizz must access this folder automatically when attaching PDFs * Ensure sufficient disk space and server performance ⸻ Deliverability Requirements The setup must include: * Maximum inbox placement * Proper DNS alignment * Spam avoidance best practices * Tracking domain configuration * Bounce handling * Feedback loop configuration (where applicable) * Sender reputation guidance * Production-ready sending configuration ⸻ Infrastructure Procurement (Important) The freelancer will be responsible for providing and configuring everything required for this project. This includes, but is not limited to: * VPS/server(s) * IPv4/IPv6 addresses * MailWizz license * PowerMTA license * SSL certificates * Domains (if required) * DNS configuration * Any additional software, licenses, or services required for a fully functional production-ready system Please include all setup costs, licenses, and infrastructure costs in your proposal.
