Proposal – Custom LoRa Wireless Button Trigger System Hello, I can design and develop the complete LoRa wireless trigger system exactly according to your specifications. With strong experience in embedded systems, LoRa communication (SX1276), USB HID devices, and custom PCB design, I can deliver a reliable transmitter–receiver solution suitable for frequent use and small-scale production. For the hardware, I can either refine the existing ATmega32u4 + SX1276 architecture or design a custom PCB integrating the LoRa transceiver, power management, LiPo charging circuit, LEDs, and rugged connectors. The firmware will be written in C++ (Arduino-compatible) with a robust packet protocol including ACK handling, retries, heartbeat monitoring, and session tracking. LoRa parameters will remain fixed to AS923 (923.2 MHz) with BW 125 kHz, SF10, CR 4/6, preamble 10, CRC enabled as required. I will also design compact, durable enclosures for both devices with proper openings for LED indicators, trigger button, USB connectors, and charging port. The designs will be optimized for 3D printing or small-batch manufacturing. Deliverables include: • Complete schematics and PCB layout • Bill of Materials • Transmitter and receiver firmware • 3D enclosure design (STL/CAD) • Prototype units • Full documentation I would be happy to review your existing prototype firmware and hardware before starting to ensure a smooth transition to the final design. Thank you.

Hello, I understand you need a rugged, reliable LoRa wireless trigger system with a handheld transmitter and a USB keyboard-resembling receiver. I will build on the existing prototype to deliver a robust two‑device solution: an ergonomic handheld remote with a push button, LEDs, a LiPo battery, and a charging port; and a receiver that plugs into a computer via USB Type-B and emulates the Enter key upon valid packets. I will select the most practical path (refine the current board or design a compact PCB) to meet the 300-500 m indoor range with the specified LoRa settings, adding strong ACK handling, heartbeat monitoring, and low-latency operation. Enclosures will be professional, open for 3D printing or fabrication, with clear access to LEDs, button, and connectors. Deliverables include hardware schematics, PCB layout, BOM, firmware for both sides, mechanical STL/CAD files, plus wiring diagrams and assembly guides. How soon do you want the first prototypes tested, and do you prefer Option A (Refine existing components) or Option B (custom PCB) for the hardware? Are there any power budget constraints or charging cycle targets for the LiPo battery? What is the final acceptance criteria for latency and packet loss in your environment? Best regards, Muhammad Awais

You already built a **LoRa button prototype (ATmega32u4 + SX1276)** that sends a trigger to a receiver acting as a USB keyboard. I’ve worked on similar embedded wireless triggers where a remote sends a packet and the receiver converts it to a USB HID key event. **How I will do this:** First, I will review your current Arduino firmware and improve packet handling using the Semtech SX1276 to ensure reliable ACK, retry logic, and duplicate protection. Then I will organize the transmitter code for button events, LED behavior, heartbeat packets, and stable LoRa transmission. On the receiver side, I will implement clean USB keyboard emulation using the Arduino Keyboard Library so it sends the ENTER key when a valid packet arrives. I will also design a compact PCB for both devices (battery charging, USB-C, strong USB Type-B connector) and create simple durable enclosures with openings for LEDs, button, and connectors. If this approach works, we can start with firmware cleanup first and then move to PCB and enclosure design as the next milestone.

Hi, I've reviewed your project brief thoroughly and I'm well-positioned to deliver this. I have 2+ years of hands-on SX1276 LoRa experience, including building a 1U CubeSat with a custom LoRa communication stack that achieved 1.8 km real-world range — your 300–500m indoor requirement is well within my proven capability. That project involved full packet protocol design, ACK/retry logic, and telemetry handling from scratch, which maps directly to what you need here. On the technical side, I'm fully aligned with your requirements: >AS923 (923.2 MHz), SF10, BW 125kHz, CR 4/6 — familiar territory >ATmega32u4 native USB HID keyboard emulation — understood >RadioHead library, Arduino C++ — actively used Your H/E/A packet protocol with sequence numbers and duplicate protection — clean design, ready to implement I'd recommend starting with Option A (BSFrance LoRa32u4 II) to validate firmware and form factor quickly, with Option B as a natural next step if a custom PCB is desired. Deliverables I'll provide: Transmitter & receiver firmware · Schematics & BOM · 3D enclosure STL files · Assembly & flashing documentation · 1× TX + 1× RX prototype I'm new to this platform but not to this technology. I'd be happy to share my CubeSat project as a reference before you decide. Looking forward to the opportunity.

Hi, This is a project I can handle well. I’m a Mechatronics Engineer with about two years of experience in embedded systems, PCB design (Altium/KiCad), and hardware prototyping. For this task, I would first review your existing LoRa32u4 prototype and firmware to understand the current packet logic (ACK, retries, heartbeat). From there I can either refine the current design or create a custom PCB integrating the microcontroller, SX1276 LoRa, power management for the LiPo battery, and the required button and LED indicators. On the receiver side I’ll implement a stable USB HID keyboard interface so the device reliably sends the Enter key when a packet is received, while also managing ACK responses and heartbeat monitoring. I’ll also ensure the USB Type-B connector is mechanically solid for environments where cables may be pulled. I’ve worked on similar embedded hardware projects including an RFID clocking/access device using Arduino and ESP32, and several custom PCBs manufactured through JLCPCB with full firmware and assembly documentation. I can deliver the schematics, PCB design, firmware for both devices, enclosure files, and working prototypes. Happy to discuss the details further. Thanks, Collins
