Seeking an expert in e-discovery and computer forensics. Your task will be to recover and analyze files from a locked laptop. Requirements: - Recover emails and documents - Work with locked devices Ideal Skills: - Experience in file recovery - Proficiency in handling locked laptops - Knowledge of forensic tools and techniques In November 2024, I was hired as a Machine Safety Engineer to address a plethora of machine safety issues at (26) manufacturing facilities located throughout the Americas. After becoming frustrated with what I perceived to be grossly inadequate financial commitment to improve safety-related machine controls, CoHE policies, crane safety, and other issues, in January 2026 I elevated my concerns to my employer's senior leadership & legal team. Without any warning or negative comments to Ogden’s performance, on 11 February 2026, I was summarily terminated. My employer claims that the position of OPEX Machine Safety Expert has being eliminated. My former employer subsequently refused to discuss my termination in good faith and stonewalled my proactive questions on behalf of the safety of over 12,000 employees. On 13 March 2026 I filed a complaint under the Illinois Whistleblower Act which has since been moved to the Federal Court for Southern Illinois, case #3:26-CV-00477. I have retained my company-issued laptop and am attempting to retrieve emails and documents from the laptop to support my complaint for retaliatory discharge in Federal Court. Access to my company email was shut-down remotely within minutes of my termination, and so I have kept the laptop powered down and off the internet within ten minutes of being informed of my termination. I am uncertain what VPN service my employer was using, or if there was/is software hidden in the background to possibly erase the hard drive by remotely or when it is powered up?
