We need a new PCB designed in Eagle that combines two simple existing boards (Eagle schematics and layouts available). The first is the generic Arduino board, the second the Ethernet shield. Essentially what we want is an Arduino board with Ethernet on board in addition to the existing USB. The interconnect between the two is only power and I2C. The redundant memory card slot can be ommitted, and there may be economies that can be made in the power supply. In addition there are 9 resistors to be added to a dedicated analogue input (simple potential divider and current limit for three current transformer inputs) We will release the board back as open source, and use it for a semi commercial project (we will be giving hardware away to selected organisations to use as an energy monitor to save CO2 emissions). We require a new schematic, and PCB design, using your experience to make the board as efficient as possible. Ideally (and extra to this bid) you will be able to construct a prototype AFTER payment and completion of this bid, from the initial PCBs we will pay for, but this will be for ADDITIONAL payment and is OPTIONAL. Questions and suggestions most welcome.
