I would like to create a cheap 'portable measurement arm' . The ideal thing is sold here [url removed, login to view] This arm costs >$20,000. My idea is a 'poor-man' alternative solution that will cost MUCH less. [url removed, login to view] (we need to place N of these stuff in a row...) The arm should be thin enough to enter the mouth, as one possible application is to measure dental archs. There should be a button somewhere. When the user presses the button, the measure of all agles is fed to a PC. I will take care of the software on the PC side. The engineer will design the electronic and mechanical part and will build a prototype. The arm will be battery operated and will transfer data to the PC via wireless.
