The information about the research is attached in compressed folder which contains information about feeder (case study) which contain (the map, load graph and excel sheets about resistances and inductance as well as the transformers and the feeder length) the voltage profile is maintained constant (11.2KV from the substation by using OLTC) when the nonlinear load is connected to the feeder the power quality problem(voltage profile ) drops within the acceptable range. Hence the D-STATCOM is used as a compensation device with a specific control strategy based on a PI controller to solve this problem(improve the voltage profile)(11KV/50Hz)
So the main objectives of this research work are:
1- model this radial distribution system by Matlab model either by Matlab Simulink or by Matlab code according to the information given about the feeder (11KV/50Hz)
2- Examine the system with connecting nonlinear load without DSTATCOM ( and observe the problem of voltage profile which drops under its acceptable standard level)
3- Examine DSTATCOM with specific control strategy base on PI controller (tuning PI controller using Particle Swarm Optimization PSO)
4- compare the results with and without using DSTATCOM with specific control strategy mention in (3) in order to show the importance of using DSTATCOM for improving voltage profile in distribution system which tuned by PSO.
5- Study the DSTATCOM allocation (best location of DSTATCOM by using optimization method (PSO))

FURTHER EXPLANATION OF REQUIRED WORK
The following modifications should be done before the final Project send:
1- The local network with its all specification Parameters ( Source 11KV/50Hz) and Transmission lines data ( as given in Excell sheets) should be included as the case study.
2- Nonlinear load should be designed perfectly to create Power quality problem especially voltage drop on the feeder ( the main objective improve the voltage on the feeder to be with standard acceptable level).
3- add scopes and display to show the waveforms for voltage current and reactive throughout the network
4- monitor the voltage and current as well as reactive power before using DSTATCOM (in order to compression and prove the efficient of DSTATCOM in this network).
5- DSTATCOM model should be designed perfectly using SPWM as control strategy and with appropriate filter design which depends on PI controller tuning.
6- PI controller should be tuned using Practical Swarm Optimization for the value of gain constants (Kp and KI)
7- Observe the results after connecting DSTATCOM with appropriate design mention (5&6) and should prove the voltage profile improvement using DSTATCOM.
8-study DSTATCOM allocation (Best location) depending on PSO technique.
9- study the load flow of the network without using DSTATCOM and with using DSTATCOM and compare the results.
Please before send me the project make sure you do all the mentioned above points as is also send a perfect work with all clarifications and explanations as well as audio video to clear all the works in details ( Matlab code, Simulink graphs numerical results ......should be included in the work.
