As an introduction I can say few things about Wind farm construction is that it involves site planning, foundation installation, turbine erection, and grid connection, with offshore projects requiring specialized maritime logistics, significantly higher costs, and more complex infrastructure than onshore, which uses standard heavy equipment. Onshore, construction takes 4-8 years; offshore, 7-11 years. Operations require maintenance for turbines and substation equipment, with offshore relying on vessels for higher-frequency, maintenance-intensive repairs. I have vast knowledge in wind farm construction and operations both for onshore and offshore because I have done some large projects in this topic for few of my clients before. And wind farm project that I have been involved in Muppandal Wind Farm here in Tamil Nadu, India which have over 1,500 MW, the largest in India and which is located in a high-velocity wind region.
