I’m arranging a small online class for four Asian friends who want to feel more confident in everyday English. We have set aside one hour a week, 8-9 PM EST, and can meet either Wednesday or Saturday—whichever you can commit to consistently. We’ll begin with a ten-week block and hope to continue if everyone is happy with the progress. Their priority is simple, natural conversation: ordering food, chatting with coworkers, small talk, and other day-to-day topics. They learn best through interactive activities rather than rigid slide decks, so games, role-plays, and real-time feedback will be appreciated. All four are beginners, so patience, clear pronunciation, and the ability to explain idioms in plain language are essential. I’ll provide a stable Zoom link; if you prefer Google Meet or another platform, just let me know in advance. After each session I’d like a brief written recap—key phrases covered, pronunciation tips, and a quick suggestion for optional practice during the week. Deliverables • One live 60-minute session per week • Short recap email after each class • Light homework or practice prompt (optional but encouraged) If this sounds like a fit, please tell me a little about your teaching approach and any similar group experience you have. We can start as soon as next week.
