As a student with excellent, consistent English grades, I believe I will be able to teach the students comfortably. Since I would be more closer in age, they won't feel as nervous and although classes would be on a friendly basis, I'm quite stern with homework. I believe homework helps but I would also be patient enough to help each student individually and then teach them all as a class entirely. I would go over grammar, day-to-day conversation structure, vocabulary to help with conversations and phrases to sound more fluent in the English language. Hope to hear you reach out.

Hello, What stood out to me in your post is that your friends don't simply want to learn English they want to feel comfortable using it in real life. Many beginners know more English than they think, but they freeze when they want to use it in real life situations and my classes are designed to bridge that gap. I currently teach English to international learners and enjoy working with students from different cultural backgrounds. Instead of spending most of the lesson on slides and explanations, I create situations where students actually use English. One week we might simulate ordering at a restaurant, another week we might practice introducing ourselves at a social event or making small talk with colleagues. I use role-plays, conversation games, speaking challenges, and guided discussions to keep everyone involved and speaking. Because your group consists of four beginners, I would also make sure each student gets individual speaking time and personalized feedback. My goal is not perfection but confidence. Students should leave each session feeling, "I can actually use this."
