The only requirements needed are: A cellphone with android or ios system, a quiet environment to do the recordings and being African American born and raised in the following 22 cities listed: DETROIT, LOS ANGELES, ATLANTA, CHARLESTON, CHICAGO, COAHOMA CITY, DORCHESTER COUNTY, DURHAM, GEORTOWN COUNTY, HYDE COUNTY, LANSING, MIAMI, NEW ORLEANS, NEW YORK CITY, OAKLAND, PHILADELPHIA, PITTSBURG, RALEIGH, ROSWELL, SPRINGVILLE, TEXANA, WASHINGTON DC.
The project consists in record 200 premade sentences, create and record 130 senteces using 2 giving words and do three 5 minutes monologue choosing between 3 topics, all this using the provided app.
Time? takes around 70 minutes.
