# Excel + VBA Project

Orçamento $30-250 USD

I have an excel file with two tabs. Each row has positive numbers as well as zeroes. Each set of consecutive positive numbers I define as a "series." There may be one or more series in each row. I would like to perform various operations on each series. The first tab will be called “Holdings.” The second tab will be called “Prices”

1. Find the maximum value in each series. Call this "max"

2. Find the first value in the series. Call this "initial"

3. Find the last value in the series. Call this "last"

4. For a given series, find the value that occurs 8 cells to the right of the “last” value. Call this “Post_Two”

5. For a given series, find the value that occurs 8 cells to the right of the “last” value. Call this “Post_One”

6. When did the maximum value occur within the series (was it the first number, second number, third number, etc). call this build_time

As mentioned above, there is a second tab. The second tab is filled with numbers. I would now like to perform various operations that use these numbers. Each number on "Holdings" corresponds to a number on "Prices" in the same location on the spreadsheet. For a given value on “Holdings” tab, I will identify the corresponding value on “Prices” tab with "_price".

1. Calculate "max_price / initial_price - 1." Call this “build_return”

2. Calculate “Post_Two_price” /last_price -1”. Call this “post_return_one”

3. Calculate “Post_One_price” /last_price -1”. Call this “post_return_two”

Now we want to calculate summary statistics across all the series. However, for the summary statistics, we want to exclude all series that have only one value. We also want the option of excluding all series that have only two values. This should be something that we can easily turn on and off by making the code comments or not comments.

Summary Statistics:

1. Mean and median of all build_return

2. Mean and median of all post_return_one

3. Mean and median of all post_return_two

4. Mean and median of all build_time

Next, there is actually a third and fourth tab in the spreadsheet. Tab three is called “PriceE” and tab four is called “EVE”. Again, each value in tab 1 corresonds to a value in tab 3 and tab 4 in the same spot on the spreadsheet. I will identify these corresponding values using _PriceE and _EVE.

For a given series on tab 1 (“Holdings”), I would like to find

1. Initial_PriceE

2. Max_PriceE

3. Last_PriceE

Find the mean and median across all series of these three values.

I would also like to find

1. Initial_EVE

2. Max_EVE

3. Last_EVE

Find the mean and median across all series of these three values.

Notably, I will likely go through a few iterations of this. If this is something you are interested in and can do, please let me know and I will send a sample excel file. Thank you for your help.
