I have a large job to fit around 500 separate data series to Probability Density Functions using Palisade @Risk. The data are spread across about 100 different spreadsheets (each with an average of ~5 data sets to be fitted).
These data can be fit manually using @Risk, but this is slow and tedious work. I would like to know whether someone can automate this task, at least partially.
A major difficulty is that all of the data sets are different sizes, and hence (currently) need to be individually selected by hand.
Each data set is arranged as Cumulative (X,P) Points and will need to be fitted using that option in @Risk. Each data set will need to be fitted to a lognormal distribution with a fixed bound lower limit of zero and open upper limit (extends to +Infinity).
You will need to have a recent version of Palisade @Risk to complete this job and will need to be proficient at using it.
I am hoping that someone can come up with a clever way of (at least partially) automating this task.
