I have workbooks I use for scheduling. There are a few dozen macros that create and sort staff lists. The longest macros take 30-40 seconds on an i7 with 4gb memory. I suspect these could be written to run faster by someone who knows write better VBA macros. I use select, offset and activate a lot and I am told this is a horribly slow way to program excel. Not sure how to improve the macros.
