It is a 44,400 word politically incorrect, suggestive work of fiction. Based in a rural Aussie farming community \ tourist area. It shows how the town's inhabitants and visitors, cope with a crazy, hypnotic, subliminal message that's been broadcast over the district for approx 20 years.
The underlying reason for initially transmitting this coercive missive was to protect the unborn - future influential environmentalist [Cynthia] from a cold blooded killer, who stood to benefit from any increase in global warming. Turning the town into a place that nobody took seriously protected Cynthia for approx 20 years.
Sadly, Cynthia is now a young woman and no longer safe. Alerted to the situation by some locals [hired to keep her updated and to keep an eye on things for her], the brilliant hypnotist returns and starts reading their written reports]. Containing graphic accounts of the behavioural changes the locals have undergone, the reports illustrate the quirkiness of the human spirit and the eccentricity of animals; when they start talking: especially considering the fact that her compulsion also forces them all to speak in rhyme.
Sadly she finds that two young women [ the same age as Cynthia] have recently disappeared and so with the many [now completely absurd locals] to help her, she attempts to save Cynthia by matching her up with Sheelby Wright. The following are some of her helpers - Rutting Roo- a roguish letter writing, playboy Roo and Back Tracker Jack - a flamboyant, outrageous egotist. Then there's Felice Shearer - an insane Hairdresser and the list goes on............
