I am seeking practical guidance on Midas Civil 2022, specifically for rail–ballast–structure interaction (RSI) analysis, including geometry modeling, material definition, load application, support definition and types, as well as result interpretation and visualization. What I am looking for I require targeted assistance on the following topics: 1. Model setup in Midas (Rail Track Analysis Wizard) Step-by-step procedure for correctly creating an RSI model using the Wizard. Proper location and implementation of Rail Expansion Joints within the model. 2. Viaduct geometry modeling How to model curved sections. Fixed and movable supports. Simulation of elastomeric bearing pads. Use of AASHTO Type IV girders. Procedure for modeling the complete viaduct. Definition of equivalent deck stiffness (best practices). 3. Loads and operating conditions Train–structure–track interaction (ballast, sleepers, and fastening systems). Acceleration and braking loads. Thermal expansion effects. 4. Rail–structure interaction (Elastic Links) Proper definition of: Longitudinal stiffness. Vertical stiffness. 5. Best practices for using the software Modifying geometry without affecting model connectivity. Proper and optimized use of the Tree Menu to avoid inconsistencies. 6. Preferred working methods Live sessions (screen-sharing video calls) using real examples. Small assignments or sample files that I can review between sessions. Responses to specific questions via chat or email between meetings. I am looking for a professional who has already applied Midas Civil 2022 to real projects and has solid experience with the Rail Track Analysis module.
