Posso lavorare in qualsiasi fuso orario tu preferisca. Sono pronto a iniziare immediatamente. Cordiali saluti, Pavle

Saluti, Houssame.

Hello, I can build a reliable SPI firmware for your ESP32-S3 slaves and Raspberry Pi master, ensuring stable 1ms cycles with 300µs full-duplex transfers while handling up to 32 chip-selects. I’ve developed a similar SPI system for a Raspberry Pi controlling 16 ESP32 slaves—used DMA transfers to maintain timing precision, which reduced jitter from 200µs to 50µs. I’d approach this by using ESP32-S3’s hardware CS pins and a circular buffer for data synchronization, while the Pi will handle SPI with interrupts to avoid blocking the single core. The biggest challenge will be balancing the 1ms cycle with 300µs transfers, which I’ll solve by batching small packets. Proper synchronization will ensure your system runs smoothly with minimal latency, letting you focus on application logic rather than SPI overhead. After delivery, I’ll provide a quick guide on monitoring the SPI bus via the web interface to help with debugging. If this aligns with your needs, I’m happy to discuss the implementation details further. Thanks, Lazar.

✅ Nice to meet you ✅ I can help develop the Raspberry Pi ↔ ESP32-S3 SPI firmware with the timing and synchronization requirements of your modular system in mind. I would focus first on building a reliable communication layer that can consistently complete the required full-duplex exchange within the 1 ms cycle while keeping the ESP32-S3 firmware efficient on a single core. I can implement the ESP32-S3 firmware using C/C++ with ESP-IDF, including SPI slave handling, I/O input/output matrices, synchronization, memory mapping, and clearly defined communication structures. On the Raspberry Pi side, I can develop the SPI master interface with an efficient single-core design and provide the required handling for multiple chip-select lines. I can also create the browser-based Raspberry Pi test interface so you can monitor communication traffic, cycle timing, slave status, and transferred I/O data in real time. Testing will include scripts and measurements to verify the 1 ms cycle and identify timing or latency issues before expanding to all 32 slaves. The final delivery will include documented source code, build instructions, test tools, memory/I/O mapping documentation, and practical recommendations for future optimization. I can begin with four ESP32-S3 slaves as the initial validation stage before scaling the implementation.

Grazie, Adam.

Hi, I am an embedded firmware engineer experienced with ESP32/ESP-IDF, Raspberry Pi, SPI, real-time data exchange, DMA/buffering, and deterministic MCU communication. Your specification requires 12-byte full-duplex packets, up to 32 ESP32-S3 slaves, a 1 kHz cycle, and total SPI communication below 300 µs at 10 Mbit/s. QUBE FW 1_0 Approach: ✅ I will implement the ESP32-S3 SPI-slave firmware on one core with fixed I/O memory, CRC/status handling, double buffering, and safe synchronization with the second core. ✅ I will develop the Raspberry Pi master to sequence 32 chip-select addresses, perform full-duplex SPI transfers, and keep the communication task deterministic within the 1 ms cycle. ✅ I will add timing/debug instrumentation plus the browser test interface required to monitor communication, errors, and exchanged variables. ✅ I will deliver documented source/build files, memory mapping, test scripts, and validate the system with Raspberry Pi + 4 ESP32-S3 slaves as specified. QUBE FW 1_0 Questions: ✅ Which Raspberry Pi model and OS/kernel version will be used for the final system? ✅ Are the SPI pins and 5-bit decoder connections already fixed in hardware? ✅ Should the Raspberry Pi side use C/C++ for tighter timing, or is Python preferred if the 300 µs requirement can be demonstrated? ✅ Is ESP-IDF preferred over Arduino for the ESP32-S3 implementation? Best, Yaroslav

I propose to design and implement robust, production-grade SPI firmware for your ESP32-S3 project, focused on delivering stable, high-integrity communication between the ESP32-S3 and your SPI peripheral(s) — whether that's a sensor, display, external flash/PSRAM, ADC/DAC, or custom FPGA/MCU companion device. Using the ESP-IDF framework (or Arduino framework if preferred), I'll configure the SPI master or slave driver with appropriate clock speeds, data modes (CPOL/CPHA), and DMA-based transfers to maximize throughput while minimizing CPU overhead, and I'll structure the driver layer to cleanly abstract hardware access so it's easy to maintain, test, and extend as your project evolves. Reliability will be the core focus throughout development: I'll implement proper error handling and timeout detection for SPI transactions, CRC or checksum verification where data integrity is critical, and recovery logic to gracefully handle bus errors, device resets, or communication dropouts without requiring a full system restart. If your application involves multiple SPI devices on shared or separate buses, I'll design appropriate chip-select management and bus arbitration to prevent contention, and I'll account for signal integrity considerations (trace length, pull-up/pull-down requirements, level shifting if needed) that commonly affect SPI reliability at higher clock speeds.

Hi, I can help develop the ESP32-S3 and Raspberry Pi firmware for this real-time SPI communication system. I have experience with C/C++, embedded systems, hardware-integrated projects, real-time data processing, sensors, and Raspberry Pi/IoT systems. I can focus on the 1 ms cycle, reliable 300 µs full-duplex transfers, I/O data mapping, single-core operation, and testing with multiple ESP32-S3 slaves. I can also provide documented firmware, build instructions, timing/test scripts, and a simple Raspberry Pi web interface to monitor communication and system status. I’d start with 4 slaves, verify the timing and synchronization, then make the design ready for scaling to 32. Could you share the exact Raspberry Pi model and ESP32-S3 board/module you are using?

Grazie. Hassan
