Our company is under the process of starting a new online tailor shop business from Bangkok, so we are looking for a web designer who can design a website and a database system ( CMS )for us. We won’t have any store in Bangkok, its only an online store that we will have. So, it’s important that we produce an image of an online business. Details of our requirements are attached to this email but a short description of what we are looking for is stated below.
1. Company logo.
2. Website based on flash ( definitely home page ) and wherever required ( I guess design your suits, shirts etc). For the remaining pages we are open to your suggestions.
4. SEO (we would like our website to be ranked on one of the first pages of the search engines ( google, yahoo etc )
5. Paypal and shopping cart.
6. Literature for the entire website is to be done by the web designer. ( we will help you with some part of it ).
7. Web hosting and domain name.
8. Multiple email accounts ( separate for sales, enquire, employess etc )

PART 1 :-
1. Home page

Single breasted suits ( appox. 20-25 photos )

Tuxedo’s ( appox 10-15 photos )
Morning jackets ( appox 10-15 photos )

*** Web designer has to arrange for the high quality photos and shouldn’t copied from any of the websites mentioned above or elsewhere in our descriptions. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAN IN FUTURE WE SHOULD BE ABLE TO ADD AND REMOVE PHOTOS ON OUR OWN.

4. Prices :- We will have 3 collections of fabrics
a) 1st collections ( prices in US $ and Euro)
b) 2nd Collections ( prices in US$ and Euro)
c) 3rd Collections ( prices in US$ and Euro )
*** We are open to suggestion for the name of the collections like Chairman collections, Diamond collections etc etc.
5. Swatches :- ( CMS )
Based on the price list we will have 3 collections of fabrics for suits and shirts seperately. We should be able to make changes on the webpage informing the customer’s if the fabric is out of stock. For example if one of the fabric is running out of stock, we should be able to edit that particular swatch and place a note on top of the swatch saying FABRIC OUT OF STOCK. Also we should be able to add, remove the fabrics on our own as our fabric runs out of stock frequently.

Similarly, you will have to find out the name of the suits fabric from different tailor websites. We will try to help you by providing different references of the website but we will prefer you find it on your own.
*** Each collections of fabric ( suit and shirts individually ) will have approximately 50-60 pictures of swatchs. We might send you the swatches to take picture and you upload on the website or we will send you the pictures of the swatches itself, this will be decided before we start working on this project. ALSO IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAN IN FUTURE WE SHOULD BE ABLE TO ADD AND REMOVE SWATCHES PICTURES ON OUR OWN.
6. Measurements :- There will be three parts for measurements :-
a) Returning customer. ( we will have their measurements on file )
b) Customer who wants to send his best fitted suit/shirt to be copied ( we will provide him shipping instructions )
c) New customer . 3D measurement form similar to [url removed, login to view]

7. Resellers :- ( CMS )
Under resellers we will have some literature informing them how this works and in the end we will have a column where they can contact us. To contact us they will have to fill in a form of basic informations like name of their company, email, telephone etc.
Once they become a reseller they should be able to login in to our website to place orders for their customers. They should be able to check records of the customers ( if repeat customer for them ) and the fabric status online whether a particular fabric is IN STOCK or OUT OF STOCK.
To place their order they will fill up a form and make their own style for suits and shirts like our back end office work ( explained later in our database and back end job software requirements )
8. Accessories :-
At the moment we just want couple of photos of cufflinks and ties under accessories and will ask our customers to contact us if they want to see more pictures or photo of ties and cufflinks that we offer.
In future we are also planning to offer custom made belts and shoes so please design accordingly
9. Payment and Shopping cart :-
I guess it will be together if we get paypal. Will discuss about this a later stage.
10. Contact Us
You will have to arrange for different FAQ’s by looking at different tailor websites. We would also like to provide more details on how the suits are constructed, fabric details like thread counts, 2 ply etc etc. All this information you will have to be gathered from different tailor websites.
12. Clients visiting Bangkok :-
We will have a small form under this wherein we will ask our customers to provide us their hotel details and we will visit them in their hotels to do the fittings etc. A small paragraph informing them how it works and a form that they need to fill in.
PART 2 :-
DATABASE AND BACK END JOB :- ( CMS based )
*** Before we explain what we are looking under this topic, please note that there will be two databases. One will be for our individuals customers and the second will be for our resellers. PLEASE NOTE THAT INDIVIDUAL CUSTOMERS DATABASE WILL BE SEPARATE THAN THE RESELLERS. WE ALSO HAVE THE BACK-OFFICE WORK FOR OUR TAILORS IN THAI.
a). Individual ( Direct )customers :- Customers who will visit our website and who will order directly from our website.
i) Customer’s personal information’s (name, shipping address, email, phone etc )
ii) Customers age, height etc
iii) Customer’s measurements
iv) Style details
v) Customer’s photo ( if the customer is providing us with one)
vi) His individual order details
vii) His history of purchases ( amount, fabrics, quantity etc )
viii) Auto/Edit generated order numbers
ix) Payment details ( advance payment, balance to be paid )
x) order history ( date of placing order, underproduction orders, date the orders were shipped out)
ix ) Search ( by name, city, country, purchase amount, email, phone, address etc )
x) Customer should be able to view their order details anytime they want.
xi) We should be able to email the customer from the database.
b). Resellers :- Resellers will visit our website to place orders for their customers.
i) Separate account for each and every reseller
i). Customers name, age height
ii) Customers measurements
ii ) Style designing ( similar to our back end office work NOT LIKE DESIGN YOUR SUIT OR SHIRTS FOR OUR INDIVIDUAL CUSTOMERS ).
iii) Customers photo ( only if the reseller wants to provide )
iv ) His order history ( fabric, quantity, date of placing order, date the order was shipped out ).
v) Auto/Edit order number ( Unique for every reseller )
vi) Search ( by resellers name, customers details etc )
C). Making the details for our tailors :- ( back office work )
Based on the information’s (measurements, style details ( VERY IMPORTANT HERE ) etc that we will get from our individual customers and reseller’s customers we should be able to make a rough sketch ( we will send you photo’s and already made sketches to give you an idea ) we should be able to prepare the details ( especially the style and its descriptions) for our tailors in thai language as well as in English for our employee’s reference. We will provide you with all the necessary information both in English and Thai. We can explain this to you in details once we start working on the project. It will be similar to design your own suit and shirt but for our back office so doesn’t have to be too graphical. It can be based on templates ( we can provide you with some of the basic templates and you might have to design some based on those templates ). Just a short description on how this will work.
For example :- Customers will order suits with notch, peak or shawl lapel so what we are trying to do here is to change the template ( picture ) to the lapel style which the customer has selected. Once we receive the order form from our customer we would like to open this software and make the design on our own for our tailors ( ONLY FOR FOR OUR INDIVIDUAL CUSTOMERS, FOR RESELLERS THEY WILL DO IT ON THEIR OWN ). But once again please note that we don’t want something fancy here. It’s a back end work so it has to be simple for out tailors to understand. Just for your knowledge at the moment we are doing this in an order book ( manually ). So we are trying to get this step computerized. We can provide you with some sketches that we do by hands so it will give you a better picture.
IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT WE SHOULD BE ABLE TO EDIT THE DETIALS I.E. THE DETAILS FOR OUR TAILORS AND EMPLOYEE ( IN THAI AND ENGLISH). WE SHOULD HAVE TOTAL ACCESS TO THE DETAILS SO THAT WE CAN MAKE CHANGES AS AND WHEN IT IS REQUIRED. WE SHOULD BE ABLE TO ADD MORE STYLE DETAILS OR REMOVE SOME STYLE DETAILS FROM THIS DATABASE.
