Looking for affordable complete design of gamer web page.

Let me be honest. I am not too familiar with ways of designing web pages.
I know the basics of html but other than that im at a loss.
I have included 2 examples of sites which are both intresting and in the direction we'd like to go, if its posible.

We currently have a web page which is apparently joomla based.
We need a web site for our team. We are 5 competitive gamers from Chile (South America) We have participated in many tournaments internationally and we are in need of making our goals and achievements public as well as obviously providing coverage of the tournaments we assist.
We also need a logo which represents both our team name and which looks visually appealing.
Our current website is abandoned and has never been worked on, 1-2 times at most.

We are currently sponsored by AMD and Elitegroup. Both big brands in the technology industry.
Sadly all of us are students and our budget is veeeerry limited.
We obviously are looking for something both profesinoal , that looks good and SIMPLE.
We dont like overworked websites with too much information.
Our needs are very specific in terms of information within the page and will elaborate more.
By all means inform us if you find our demands unrealistic price wise.
